Timber Species: Thermally Modified Oil Palm Trunk (OPT) Lumber with Laminated Material
Description: Blockboard is an OPT-based panel material that comprises of a core faced on both sides. The core is made from parallel, rectangular-section, bonded palmwood strips; these are sandwiched between a variety of facing materials which can include veneers of softwood, hardwood, plywood, thin MDF or particle board. The assembly is glued under pressure and high temperature to achieve a fast and strong bond.

Average Moisture Content: <12%
Formaldehyde Emissions: No Added Formaldehyde (NAF), D2 - D4 level, PVAc based resin.
Suggested Applications: Blockboard is used primarily for interior applications such as Furniture Manufacturing, Wall Paneling, Joinery, and Packaging.
